EBASCO was founded in 1968 by an intrepid entrepreneur, Sohan Lal Sharma, in Dubai. At the time of the company’s creation, Dubai was just a coastal hamlet of not more than 60,000 people but yet was known for its trading prowess within the Arabian peninsula, Iran and Africa. EBASCO was one of the first trading companies established in Dubai, and since its inception, the company has been supplying and trading in a wide array of goods. From very early on, through the hard work and commitment to integrity, the company earned and maintained its reputation of being a highly trustworthy and reliable entity that works pragmatically to carry out its business based on honour, and with diligence.

Over time, as the market in Dubai matured in size and scope, EBASCO was steered towards exploring more specialised business models within the trading environment that eventually resulted in its present business model. Very few companies exist today that can match the capabilities of EBASCO when it comes to product range and geographic specialisation.
